Event Details

Diesels take over the railway for one day only at the BMR! See our resident diesel locomotives, such as ‘Uncle John’, ‘Royal Highland Fusilier, and plenty more. There may be a visiting engine or two along the way, to be confirmed closer to the event.

Expect a selection of passenger and demonstration goods trains over the day. Not to be missed!

TICKET COST:
Adults and children the same rate.
RETURN (x1 ride) = Β£7
ROVER (unlimited rides) = Β£10
No booking required, contactless payment only.

TIMINGS:
Gates open at 11:00.
Trains run every 20 minutes until 16:00.
The railway is usually very busy when we open at 11:00 and usually quieten down further into the afternoon.

THE GARDENS:
Barnards Farm Gardens are π˜Ύπ™‡π™Šπ™Žπ™€π˜Ώ. This means no entry fee for the gardens, just the railway.

Feel free to bring a picnic and use the tables and seating.
Light refreshments offered from our Burtonshaw Terminus station.
